Andre Wouansi is the founder/chief executive officer of Accurate Legal Billing, Inc. Mr. Wouansi is a serial entrepreneur with expertise in legal spend management, enterprise legal management, legal invoice auditing, building applications using Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP), accounting, and international taxation

For more than two decades, Mr. Wouansi has both created and led several technology companies. For 17 years, he was both co-owner and group CFO/COO of a global Litigation Management and e-billing company located in New York City. Some of the services provided by that company included controlling legal spend of U.S., UK, and Canadian Insurance companies, third-party administrators, and self-insured corporations using Mr. Wouansi’s proprietary e-billing software specifically designed to strictly enforce outside counsel billing rules and guidelines

The company delivered over $1.5 billion dollars in saving to its clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Wouansi has worked with leading insurance companies, including, but not limited to: ACE Insurance (now Chubb), Aviva, Beazley Syndicate Bentley Insurance, Chaucer, CNA Insurance, Hiscox Syndicate, Amlin Syndicate, Novae Syndicates, Lloyd’s underwriters, XL Insurance, Catlin, Brit Insurance, Brit Global Specialty, NYCM Insurance, and Tokio Marine Insurance.

Mr. Wouansi has worked with the following leading third-party administrators: ESIS, Sedgwick, Gallagher Basset, Arthur J. Gallagher, Alternative Service Concept, Rockville and Western Litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Wouansi has worked with many U.S. self-insured companies including the following: United Airlines, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Transdev, Bayada Home Healthcare, Whirlpool, Healthcare Services Group, Seaton Corporation, Cumberland Farms, Mitsui Sumitomo Marine Management, Nissan, Nike, IBM, AT&T, Allianz, Taco Bell, KFC, Cardinal Health, Allied Barton, Volt, YRCW, Costco, leading school boards, and many more.

Mr. Wouansi spent nearly two decades auditing legal invoices from law firms across 55 countries. Using each client’s outside counsel billing guidelines, Mr. Wouansi reduced legal invoices by $1.5 billion dollars. In 2018, Mr. Wouansi decided to switch sides. He devoted his time to building legal billing software applications that help law firms comply with their client’s billing guidelines and drastically reduce legal e-billing reductions while saving firms time formerly spent on the legal invoice appeal process.
