Patrick Ryan

Patrick Ryan is an attorney and knowledge management professional. During law school, Patrick earned a concentration, with honors, in legal technology and innovation.

Patrick has worked in a legal knowledge management field at a large international law firm for over five years. He has experience with document management systems, the development of matter tracking databases, and with data visualization tools.

He also served as a research assistant, working on the development of a study software app for law students and advising other students on document automation projects.

As a law student, he developed a document automation solution for the law school's housing clinic and completed a yellow belt in Legal Lean Sigma and Project Management.

Inspired in part by David Susskind's Tomorrow's Lawyers, Patrick has built a career at the fast-developing intersection of law and technology, frequently using his experience as an attorney and as a technologist to evaluate new technologies and advise start-ups in this space.
