Thomas R Sweet

After Tom completed a successful corporate career he became an entrepreneur. He is currently Managing Director and CEO of ProtoLytic, LLC, a healthcare software technology firm he co-founded in 2014.

Prior to his position with ProtoLytic, Tom was founder and CEO of TechHealth, Inc., a nationwide healthcare services company. TechHealth was one of the most successful companies in the industry and was acquired in 2013 by a billion dollar healthcare firm.

Tom’s former corporate experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Technology Services for GTE corporation, where he ran the U.S. and international information technology operations.

Prior to that position, Tom was Vice President & General Manager-Business Sales for GTE, responsible for the western U.S., and earlier he managed GTE’s $5 billion investment portfolio as Director of Investment Management in the worldwide headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

Tom served on the boards of several organizations, including the Consortium for Advanced and Technical Education, the Wellness Community, the UCLA Computer Science Advisory Board, TechHealth and the IBM Advisory Board.

Tom is a graduate of the University of South Florida (Business & Management Science) and attended graduate school at the University of Dallas (Management Information Systems). He was a frequent guest lecturer on capital planning and portfolio optimization models at the Duke University, Fuqua Graduate School of Business. He is a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.
